Our studio has been creating scientific visuals for over 25 years. We have extensive training in both science and visualization techniques and are graduates of the Biomedical Communications program at the University of Toronto.
Visual education can take on many forms. Illustration, animation, slide decks, interactive, AR/VR, holographic projections, and more! To get a feeling for our work, please check out our demo reel. If you would like to see more specific examples of our work or have any questions, please contact us.
Our process begins with a conversation and learning about our client and their goals. From here we can begin to brainstorm and research to further our understanding. Sometimes, our client already knows exactly what they are after. Great! Often, our process involves a script > storyboard > styleframes > production. We can layer in voice over, music, sound effects. Our approach is specific for each client.
Please connect if you have any questions or comments about our work or how we can help you with your next project.
During my biology undergrad days, I would spend hours in the lab peering through microscopes at hidden worlds and intuitively sketching everything I saw. I don’t know what this meant at the time, it was just something I really enjoyed doing! Throughout the years I taught high school, worked as an animator in the gaming industry, and published medical illustrations for a textbook company. Today, I feel fortunate to be doing something I really believe in … the power of teaching science with visuals!
My name is Jay.
